If you know somebody who is interested in joining Inner Wheel, please contact a Club President, Secretary or District Extension Organiser. They would meet that person to discuss the possibility of either joining an existing Club or starting a new Club. Established Clubs can grow their membership by inviting any woman to join, and by explaining the objectives of Inner Wheel and how we work.
As soon as a new member is accepted to join, a welcoming committee inducts her. She becomes a fully active member, votes and participates in all aspects of the Club and can hold office.

Active membership may be retained or taken up by women who have been invited to join provided that they are over 18 years, and the majority of the club members agree. This was passed at the International Convention in 2021, thus removing all earlier restrictions.
The minimum number of Active Members required to form a Club is 10 women above the age of 18, who are interested and accept the objectives of our organisation.
A District Extension Organiser and District Chairman together with a sponsoring club will ensure that the intentions of the new Club are aligned with Inner Wheel. The District will then send an application to International Inner Wheel, together with the Club’s agreement to adopt the standard rules and to observe the Constitution. Such an agreement is binding except where it conflicts with the laws and customs of a particular country.
