Community Connections

Dear Inner Wheel Members,

Welcome to the month of March! A month that brings the freshness of spring, festival of colours and renewed energy. It is also a powerful month dedicated to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene - essential pillars for healthy communities and sustainable development. With global observances like World Water Day on March 22, this month highlights the importance of protecting our water resources and ensuring everyone has access to safe water and sanitation.

Let us make this month meaningful by supporting projects that create healthier environments and stronger communities. Let us also focus on following in the March of Month:
1.Formation of New clubs and induction of new members.
2.Registration for South Asia Rally to be held on 23-24 May 2026 at Colombo, Sri Lanka.

With my official visit to District 298 in February end, it is a great feeling to complete my official visits to all 27 Districts. Each and every visit will be forever etched in my mind with countless memories. Truly overwhelmed with love, warmth and great hospitality extended by all districts. Appreciate efforts of each district to do projects from vision board and beyond to touch innumerable lives. I sincerely thank all 27 District Chairmen for leading all clubs with passion to make this world a better place

I express my heartfelt thanks to District 303 for organizing a wonderful and well-coordinated second AC Meet at Pench from 10-12 February. My sincere appreciation to IIW Treasurer Rashmi Sharma, District Chairman Rama Garg, DVC Manisha Chaudhri & all Dist. EC Members, for their leadership and support in making this meet a grand success. Sincere thanks to the Association EC and Association Council Members for their cooperation in making 2nd AC Meeting a successful one. A big thank you to PDC Veena ji, PDC Kirti ji, PDC Sangeeta, and PDC Praveena ji for their tremendous efforts in arranging delightful and fun-filled entertainment — every moment was lively and joyful. The informative sessions, delicious food, fun-filled entertainment, and the memorable time we spent together made this meet truly outstanding. The grand finale with the well-arranged safari was the perfect ending to a beautiful gathering. Congratulations to the entire team of District 303 for making this meet unforgettable! With a hope for a brighter tomorrow.

As we are moving towards the end of Inner Wheel year 25-26, let us make this memorable and cherished forever.

I’m an Australian, born in a Victorian country town on the banks of the Murray River and raised in a beachside suburb on the Mornington Peninsula. I am the proud mother of 4 and grandmother of 9.
On a professional level I worked in IT for 34 years in the corporate world before discovering that people were more fun to work with than machines and made the move to advertising becoming an Advertising Sales Consultant an occupation I enjoyed for over 14 years.
